The group is starting to settle in to the beat. Our lovely room at the National Gallery was suddenly left so that we could have a day 'on the hoof', in which we began at 08:45 at the Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace, where we had a fantastic private visit to a superb exhibition of some of the highlights of the extraordinary collection.
From there we headed into the City to visit the offices of Rogers, Stork & Harbour, the architects responsible for the iconic Lloyds building and the Leadenhall building, known as The Cheesegrater. Simon Davis, one of the directors took us around, and we finished the day with a tour of Tate Modern.
