The sun was shining as we visited some glorious sites; a PRIVATE visit to Michelangelo's extraordinary Laurentian Library, designed for the new Medici popes, Leo X and Clement VII
As the last day, our day off proceeded, I slipped away to check out Andrea del Sarto's superb Last Supper in the cenacolo of San Salvi and then we finished with a long walk up to the stunning San Miniato al Monte
Sad sad goodbyes to six of our group, and now the rest of us head to Rome.Watch this space!
