A stunning, freezing morning led into a gorgeous day, truly blessed by wonderful weather! Day two was still pretty intense, but everyone was up for it and really enthusiastic about what we've put on the menu.
We began at nine with a stroll around the city, what we have dubbed 'Walkabout'...heading over the Ponte dei Pugni, through familiar territory and then to Rialto, to the fish market, a little stop at the tiny church of San Giacomo di Rialto and on through Campo San Bartolomio and through to the Accademia bridge.
The wonderful Nigel McGilchrist let us in to the beautiful world of marble and then the spice trade, and Patrick Craig ended our day with a gorgeous presentation of the history of Plain Chant, and led everyone in a lovely chorus!
