![]() Dates & Fees 2011 (London & Venice) Monday 24th January to Friday 28th January (London)and Sunday 30th January to Saturday 12th March (Venice) £8,480 For students taking the London and Venice part only, fees include return flights England - Venice, Venice - England. Fees include accommodation in shared rooms in Venice, breakfast, dinner, the full programme of lectures and on-site visits, life drawing, portraiture and photography, some art materials, one month free pass on Venetian water buses, entrance fees for visits to galleries, churches and museums included on the programme, excursions to see works of Giotto, Mantegna and Donatello in Padua, to the mosaics at Ravenna and to Palladian Villas in the Veneto, private visits to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and S. Marco. Accommodation and meals during the introductory five days in London are not included but we can assist students seeking accommodation by putting them in touch with families who have had our students as paying guests in former years. Worth noting is that the fees cover a month’s free travel on public transport in Venice, (usual price per ticket £4 - average use 3 times a day, £84 a week), breakfast and a three course dinner each day and entrance fees for all museum and gallery visits included on the programme. Options
Scholarship A scholarship is offered by the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) and John Hall. This scholarship is open only to applicants who have been members of Nadfas Young Arts Group for at least two consecutive years and who must be under 19 years of age at the time of application. Scholarship information from:
"£168 - not a sum easily found by everyone" - wrote The Guardian of the Pre-University Course fees in 1968. Our fees have kept roughly the same relationship to a term at an independent boarding school. Apart from the full programme and the benefit of the extensive visiting faculty listed, they include return travel to Italy, accommodation, breakfast and dinner daily, and a supportive resident staff.
